Digital Art blends high-tech use into avant-gardiste modern art. We propose here to explore the global status of the discipline.
Of course the term designate art not trivially scanned or photographed, or merely digitally enhanced. Digital processing should be a bit complex. 3D creation and modelling could fit in, under certain conditions in the process of rendering (inventivity, interactivity, philosophy of output's evolution, ...).
Some stricter definitions only include the use of a computer in the creation or presentation processes. We refer to a concept of technology usage as a key in the artpiece, wether it is a computer or not.
