There are again a number of companies that allow you to display ads on your site. Most well-know again is google's adsense, despite the market shares taken by the overture network from yahoo, the soon launched M$ solution and many other companies that engulfed in the "targeted advertising" business. All solutions usually are as simple as choosing the ad configuration on a web interface and copy/pasting the code generated.
Adsense is reputed to be a good choice for small/medium traffic websites (some tens of thousands impressions a day).
